     Joy remembers the days of exploring the ranch where her family lived in College Station, Texas when she was a child. Joy's only companion on many of her explorations was a pencil and sketch pad in which she captured many delightful subjects, most notably the ranch horses. Her talent was soon recognized, as family and friends began to ask for custom art pieces.

      Joy's family, late in her childhood, moved to Austin, Texas. While in Austin, Joy continued her informal art education, spending hours in her small home studio. At the same time, Joy was very involved in another passion, music. Art and music became the key points of focus for Joy's creative energies.

      Joy returned to College Station, Texas to study at Texas A&M University and during her time in College Station met her husband Jason. They found they shared complimentary interests in art. From early in their relationship, they discussed starting a business which would allow Joy to share her talent. Those early discussions resulted in the formation of Joy's Expressions.

      Joy's Expressions is a partnership between Joy and Jason. The partnership allows Joy to pursue her interest of creating custom fine art and allows Jason the opportunity to pursue his interest in entrepreneurship. Together they make up the team known as Joy's Expressions. They look forward to serving you and helping you create a unique living space thru murals, trompe l'oeil, stenciling, and painted furniture or custom art that expresses your interests and tastes.
