Joy Clifton is a gifted and talented woman capable of expressing herself on canvas and walls better that anyone I have seen in the Decorative Paint trade. She immediatley grasps the design and executes it perfectly. Her technique is well done and she implements it perfectly. She can listen and interpret what a customer wants. She searches out various media and products to expand her work. I often visit builder's show homes and seen many approaches to decorative arts. I think she has the ability and the ambition to complete any design area in which she is directed. I work in College Station, Texas as a decorative painter. Joy is far and away the best muralist our town has had in the last twenty years. I think she has the talent to compete in Houston, DFW, Austin or San Antonio on equal footing with other artists. As a Realtor, I do a lot of entertaining and to say I get complements on Joy's mural is an understatement! Visitors can't believe the entire work of art is only two dimensional and was painted by someone free-handed. In fact, when a well known builder, who specializes in homes in the half a million dollar range, saw the mural; she immediately wanted Joy's contact information to discuss several projects she had in mind. A muralist as creative, talented, and hard working a Joy is a rare find. She gets you exactly what you want and is wonderful to work with. As the top producing Realtor for Century 21 Beal, Inc, I see all types of interior decor every day. I was amazed at Joy Clifton's talent as a muralist when, on showing property for sale, I first viewed her mural of a peaceful landscape. There was such dimension and depth to her work, I decided I had to seize the opportunity of having such a talented local muralist in our area. I contacted Joy about painting a window in my kitchen on a wall that, for practical purposes, was impossible to hang a picture from. I told her I was looking for something with a Tuscany-type flare and vineyard scene. In no time at all she provided me with sketches that were exactly what I was looking for, and in only 3 days I had the mural I had been hoping for.
